Friends of Freycinet – Schouten Island
This is a 10 day working bee concentrating on the removal of gorse from Schouten Island.
We'll be working with Hobart City Council's Bushcare trackwork team, doing some stone work and erosion control on the track from the summit car park to the top of the columns climbing area. Come help look after this track on our wonderful mountain.

The Parks and Wildlife Service has had 16 bags of gravel paid for by Friends of Mt Field flown to the Tarn Shelf Track for hardening and better defining the track to reduce walkers' impacts.
