Penguin Cradle Trail Working Bee
Autumn is upon us and the days are cooling a little, but still plenty of daylight, so why not join us for a pleasant outing in the bush.
The job list on the Cradle PWS whiteboard is filling up again- track pruning, board-walk rewiring, painting , drain clearing , replicate wombat monitoring, Mt Kate Hut restoration -there's sure to be something to suit everyone. Come along for a rewarding weekend working with a great team and stay in rustic accommodation in Cradle Valley.
Volunteers will need to be suitably clothed and equipped for working in all weather conditions in a remote, high altitude location. A list of all requirements will be forwarded following registration. Limit is 12 volunteers.
An opportunity also exists for suitably fit and experienced track volunteers to camp out and work on a remote project.
Contact Regional Volunteer Co-ordinator, Jenna Huisman to discuss and sign up for the remote work. jenna.huisman@parks.tas.gov.au or 0409 506 432
Meet at 9am, Cradle Mountain Interpretation Centre
