At this working bee we will:

  • Put more plants in and around the Frog Hollow, Shade Glade and/or Rainforest Retreat – depending on which plants have grown on the best for use in each of these areas.
  • If we don’t have rain between now and then, or a likely big downpour forecast for soon after, we will focus more on weeding and tidying up the site, as well as getting rid of weeds in the tree guards in the Melaleuca woodland.

What to bring:

  • A sun hat and long sleeves – You might need some protection from UV.
  • Gardening Gloves (we also have a project set you can borrow from)
  • Weeding implements: trowels, forks, etc
  • (we also now have a project set of trowels you can borrow from)
  • Weeding pads for kneeling on – if you need these
  • Water
  • Sturdy boots, sunscreen
  • Something to share for late morning tea – at 11:30am.

– or you are welcome to just drop in to say hello during morning tea time.
