The track down from Kangaroo Moor towards Lake Webster hasn't had work done on it since 2016. Although mostly clear of encroaching scrub, it now needs some trimming.

The work site is 3 kilometres from the Lake Fenton car park and the walk to the site takes close to an hour. The walk is along a fairly good track, but some sections cross rocky uneven ground.

The area is managed by PWS and if you haven't completed the online volunteer form it can be done here (where there is also related information).  See below for more details.

If not familiar with the  area and the general risks and related issues please read the information pages at this website.

Meet at Granton at 8:00 am  – but please advise if you will be attending so you can be contacted if the working bee is cancelled. There is also a weather status page that will be updated prior to the work if it is to be cancelled.

We expect to return by 4:30 pm.
