The Wildcare Expos are an exploration and showcase of the ways in which volunteers and donors together are protecting Tasmania’s wild places, wildlife and heritage.

Entry is free and open to the general public as well as Wildcare members, but registration is essential.

2pm, 13 November at C3 Convention Centre, 64 Anglesea St, South Hobart

The Southern Expo Program

  • 1.30pm – 2.00pm Arrival and check-in.  Information and trade tables open.  Discovery Ranger with family activities.
  • 2:05pm Opening greeting – Kim Willing, Wildcare Tasmania
  • 2:10pm Welcome to Country – Legana Hughes, Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre
  • 2:15pm ‘Be part of the wild change’ – Sharon Smith, Wildcare Tasmania
  • 2:25pm Afternoon refreshments. Information and trade tables.  Discovery Ranger with family activities
  • 3:00pm – 3:45pm Roving mic Q and A with exhibiting Wildcare groups.  Led by Greg Irons, Director, Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary
  • 3.45pm – 5.00pm Information and trade tables remain open.
  • 4:00pm Family walk with Discovery Ranger – an educational walk along Hobart Rivulet for the young and young at heart
  • 5:00pm Close
