WILDCARE Inc Office

Tasmania is a state of natural wonder and we owe a lot to the volunteers participating in land and environmental conservation and education; not to mention those who give up their time, their skills and sometimes even their homes to helping sick, injured and orphaned animals. These volunteers help us all better enjoy the state we live in and the fauna we share it with. Let’s say thank you.

The NRM South Environment, Animal Care and Conservation Award, part of the state-wide 2018 Southern Cross Television Tasmanian Volunteering Awards, recognises these passionate and huge-hearted volunteers.

Every nominated volunteer receives a certificate of recognition, so not only the winners get a well deserved pat on the back. Make sure your valued volunteers don’t miss out on the thanks they deserve for their efforts.

It’s easy to show your support. Go to this link about the Tasmanian Volunteering Awards and nominate a worthy Wildcare volunteer.

There is also The Hydro Tasmania Excellence Award which aims to highlight managers of volunteers (either paid or unpaid) who embrace the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement; and The CatholicCare Volunteer Program of the Year Award for organisations to nominate their entire volunteering program or group.

Nominations close at midnight, 11 March 2018 so get in quick.
