Bite-sized Grants

DSC_0054** Applications for the current financial year are now open **

18 schools and community groups received Bite-sized Grants of up to $500 last financial year and turned this small amount of funding (total $8200) into some tremendous environmental projects with estimated in-kind contributions totaling $77,000!

A portion of NRM South’s Naturally Inspired Grants budget for community groups is allocated to the Naturally Inspired Bite-Sized program (NIBS), to provide support for small, short-term projects ranging from $200 – $500. Project funds are acquitted within 3 months of receiving the grant money. NIBS grants are available all year round, with no set opening or closing application period. The rolling grants are designed to give groups more opportunity to apply for small amounts of funding when it is needed. There is a fixed amount of funding allocated via these grants each financial year and a group may only receive funding once per financial year.
