News Flash: “Friends of Narawantapu” – We will get this sea spurge!
Friends of Narawantapu or in other words the Sea Spurge Weeders
We are a new group and we had a fantastic response at our first working bee as a new Wildcare group and on our first ever attempt to rid the park of the dreaded sea spurge, which was very successful. Successful if you count the 7 people who turned up to work, the enthusiasm of the park staff and the several thousand weeds cleared from Griffiths point. Not so successful if you made the mistake of looking around the corner only to realise it will be a 25 year project.
Oh well… baby steps. Join our group and come along – we have a lot of fun.
