On a sunny 28th February morning, with dozens of ducks feeding and socialising at low tide Robyn, Nathan, Rod, Louise and Ann walked out to Tamar Island to be joined by PWS Field staff Jason and Brad for a few hours of very warm weeding, planting and watering.
We checked and replaced the seedlings planted during our previous working bees, and tackled blackberries, sloe berry and regrowth of firethorn.
We added some new trees, encouraged by the growth of those already planted, and grateful for the increasing cloud that ended in a welcome thunderstorm that evening.
Thank you to Robyn, Nathan, Rod, Louise, Jason and Brad for hard work on a hot day
