Wildcare is seeking expressions of interest for up to 8 Board positions, including a Chair. (Our constitution requires that all elected positions come up for re-election each year). People who are attracted by Wildcare’s purpose around volunteering and raising funds to support Tasmania’s wild places and who have any of the following skills are encouraged to apply:
· Corporate governance, including finance, risk management and strategic planning
· Growing revenue and fundraising
· Strategic partnership development
· Community engagement
· Wilderness care and volunteer management
· Commercial business management
Current Board members are eligible to apply for reappointment.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performance skills based Board.
All positions are voluntary but reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Location: Wildcare operates State-wide and prospective applicants should be prepared for occasional travel to various locations around Tasmania. Technology will be used to support remote attendance where possible.

People wishing to apply for the Chair role should provide additional details of leadership experience and time commitment able to be provided. All positions will be subject to election by the Wildcare membership at the Wildcare Annual General Meeting to be held on 23 March at the Lobster Ponds, Flowerdale.
