We’re excited to announce that Wildcare Tasmania is now an official Charity Partner with Recycle Rewards. Every eligible drink container you recycle is worth 10 cents – and by donating your refund to Wildcare Tasmania, you can help protect Tasmania’s environment while keeping litter out of landfill and our environment.

Our Campaign Goal

We’ve set a target to raise $10,000 by 31 June 2026 through Recycle Rewards donations. Every 10-cent refund adds up – whether you donate one bottle or hundreds, your contribution makes a difference.

To help us achieve our goal, you can:

Take your eligible containers to any refund point across Tasmania.
Select Wildcare Tasmania as your Donation Partner at the kiosk or counter. Scroll down the alphabetical list to find us - we're right near the bottom!
Or, use the Recycle Rewards app to donate your refund anytime. You can download the app from your smartphone's app store.
Or save and scan our Wildcare barcode at a refund point.

Why Your Donation Matters

Your Recycle Rewards donation supports the essential behind-the-scenes work that drives Wildcare Tasmania’s impact.

While our volunteer Wildcare groups care for wild places across Tasmania, our small team fosters our community, manages grants, maintains vital communications, and ensures safety and governance compliance.

Please help our team provide the guidance, financial services, and safe systems that Wildcare groups need to ensure the long-term protection of Tasmania’s natural environment.

While the Tasmanian Nature Conservation Fund (TNCF) provides valuable financial support to enable our volunteer Wildcare groups to care for Tasmania’s wild places and wildlife, our Board and office team:

Provide leadership, governance, and strategic direction.
Foster and grow the Wildcare community by building awareness, engaging members and volunteers, and communicating our collective impact across Tasmania.
Advocate for Wildcare and our groups with government.
Maintain and ensure compliance with safe systems of work.
Provide training opportunities for Wildcare volunteers.
Deliver and maintain financial, operational, IT, and administrative systems so our groups can operate effectively and achieve their conservation goals.
Manage our tax-deductible TNCF gift fund and biannual grant rounds.
Fundraise for the TNCF and our operations to ensure Wildcare delivers on its vision and mission.

This “behind-the-scenes” work is essential to sustaining the long-term protection of Tasmania’s natural environment – and it needs funding too.
