Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service are hoping to build a dedicated team to volunteer over the summer months.

When:

Week 1: Tuesday 7th to Friday 10th January 2025 N/A

Week 2: Tuesday 14th to Friday 17th January 2025 N/A

Week 3: Tuesday 21st to Friday 24th January 2025 N/A

Week 4: Tuesday 28th to Friday 31st January

Week 5: Tuesday 4 th to Friday 7th February 2025 N/A

Hours: Usually for 10:00am to 2:00pm

Where: Working around the Visitors Centre with option to work at the Interpretation centre, Dove Lake and surrounding walks

Accommodation: Mt Kate Hut 2-4 people

Providing advice and guidance on day walks and activities to eager visitors, participants are then free to enjoy the park themselves or provide further assistance to visitors in and around the park if you wish.

Participants will receive shared accommodation, a hi-vis vest, access into the park, and training and guidance.

Inductions are held 10am on Tuesday mornings at the visitor centre.
