In this free event hosted by Friends of Melaleuca (Wildcare Tas), Justin Marshall will show stunning images of colour in nature and explain what colour is and how it happens, how humans and other animals perceive it, and much more. Justin is professor emeritus of neuroscience and marine biology at the University of Queensland. He is the founder of Coral Watch, the citizen science based program to assess coral health. He has been involved in many documentaries and written extensively on the subject of colour. His latest book is Colour in Nature (Princeton University Press).
