Our members provide a first response service when people report injured or orphaned animals in the northwest of Tasmania. Animals are cared for until they are ready for staged release to suitable habitat.

Where we work

We respond to injured and orphaned wildlife needs in the North West corner of Tasmania,

What we do

  • We provide a first response for injured animals (Phone 0407 434 739),
  • We care for and rehabilitate injured and orphaned wildlife (birds and animals, except venomous reptiles),
  • We  release these animals and birds back to wild when they are ready, through a staged release program to ensure they are best able to survive on their own.
  • We provide educational visits to schools to talk about Tasmania’s wildlife
