Opportunity for Tasmanian’s interested in giving PWS staff at Mt Field a hand to welcome visitors in 2017 18
Mt Field Campground Volunteer Caretaker Program is now open for Expressions of Interest.
2017 18 Caretaker season is from Mid December 2017 to after ANZAC day 20018
A trial Volunteer Caretaker Program ran last season and was hugely successful from both the visitors perspective and Parks and Wildlife Service. Also the Volunteers from the 2016 17 season mentioned how much they enjoyed working with the PWS staff at Mt Field. They felt very much a part of the team.
So if you are in Tasmania, have your own camper or caravan or tent and are willing to be allocated Site 1 in the campground as your spot to set up for 4 – 6 weeks, consider putting an Expression of Interest in.
