Threatened Plants Tasmania

West Point, north of Arthur River – Wed 26 October

TPT has been surveying and monitoring a potential new species: Prasophyllum sp. Arthur River. Currently known from only two sites and less than 200 specimens in any one season. TPT is coordinating a project to describe the species and seek its listing as threatened. This trip will survey the 2016 plants from the known locations, take some measurements, and survey the location of a newly discovered early image. We will also collect type specimens and duplicates.

Please visit http://tpt.org.au/tpt_project/fieldtrip.php and read the trip flier for full details. If you are interested in coming please register via the TPT web site or contact the co-ordinator directly.
