• Do you enjoy talking to people; have great knowledge of Cradle Mountain and the walking activities available?
• Are you able to give 3-4 days at Cradle as part of a dedicated group enhancing the visitor experience?

Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service are hoping to build a dedicated team to volunteer over January/February.

When:

Week 1: Thursday 5 January to Sunday 8 January

Week 2: Thursday 12 January to Sunday 15 January

Week 3: Thursday 19 January to Sunday 22 January

Week 4: Thursday 26 January to Sunday 29 January

Week 5: Thursday 2 February to Sunday 5 February

Hours: Usually for 10:00am to 2:00pm

Where: Working around the Visitors Centre – (designated booth)

Who: 2-4 people each week

Providing advice and guidance on day walks and activities to eager visitors, hand out bus tickets. Participants are then free to enjoy the park themselves or provide further assistance to visitors in and around the park if you wish.

Participants will receive shared accommodation, access into the park, an information pack and training & guidance

Inductions are held 10am Thursday mornings at the visitor centre, accommodation is pre booked from Wednesday through to the Mondays for those who wish to arrive earlier.
