Friends of Freycinet – Schouten Island
This is a 10 day working bee concentrating on the removal of gorse from Schouten Island.
Get buzzing. Its time for our Spring-bee at Cradle Mountain National Park
We’ve found in the past that we can get an incredible number of jobs completed for Parks over 3 consecutive weeks of 5 day working-bees in November. A variety of volunteering activities will be available each week at Cradle and nearby reserves, so sign up and be assured of a rewarding time working with a friendly team in an exceptional location. Activities will include track pruning, general Park maintenance, construction and vegetation projects, and other special jobs that Parks have for us on the list.
All tools and OH&S gear is provided, along with basic accommodation. Volunteers will need to be self sufficient with food, clothing, full rain-gear and bush-walking equipment.
Participant numbers is limited to 10 people per week.
Week 1: 14th to 18th November
Week 2: 21st to 25th November
Week 3: 28th November to 2nd December
