Friends of Tamar Island Wetlands Reserve working bee
Working bee 21st August 10-1 – meet at the Wetlands Centre at 10 am
If you are able to come for only some of the time please walk out to the island and join us, or leave us when it suits you
Weeding on the North facing slope of the island’s hill – blackberries, Montpelier broom and firethorn plus planting of native species.
What to bring
- We have tools and gloves and some glasses but please bring own equipment if prefer to do so
- Eye protection (sun or safety glasses) as it is easy to not see other things when focusing on a weed!
- Drinks
Volunteers working in Dept of Natural Resources and Environment Tas reserves and parks must register on MyImpact system, link here – NRET MyImpact registration
