Although we spread some gravel on rough patches of the Fagus Walk by Lake Fenton last month, there is more gravel to spread. It would be good to spread this while it is fairly dry (and so lighter to carry), and to make sure the track is in good condition before large numbers of visitors use it to see the fagus in its autumn colours. The vegetation overhanging the nearby sections of the track to Mt Field East could also be trimmed.
