Seabird Island Restoration Group – Inaugural whole group meeting
An opportunity for those interested in supporting or participating in the work of this group, to meet each other and learn about the plans that will be set in motion this year.
The Clifton Beach Coastal Reserve includes the beach and the coastal dunes behind the central and eastern part of the beach. These dunes extend 300 m inland, rising to more than 20 m, with dense vegetation behind. The beach is bounded by the 54 m high Cape Deslacs in the east and 50 m high rocky cliffs in the west. These cliffs contain mudstone, siltstone, limestone and rich deposits of fossils.
Wildcare Deslacs carries out a range of activities to maintain and enhance the natural values of the Clifton Beach Coastal Reserve.
