PCT Working Bee
As the days are cooling a little but plenty of daylight still, is generally a pleasant time to be in the bush.
This working bee will hopefully be staining the decks at Cape Tourville, Friendly and Richardsons beaches, plus there is plenty of sweet pittosporum and other coastal weeds to be removed.
Note accommodation is very limited within the park at this time of year. If you have a camper vehicle of some sort and you are happy to camp let us know (email friendsoffreycinet@gmail.com) as we have two powered sites at Richardsons Beach. There is very limited accommodation in the houses.
If you wish to participate in the working bee you do need to be fully vaccinated and registered as a volunteer with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania (ex DPIPWE).
This event is open to Wildcare members. Please login to register or, we warmly welcome you to Join Wildcare if you are visiting our site. For help with logging in or joining Wildcare please contact our friendly team at memberservices@wildcaretas.org.au or ph 0361654230.
