FoBSI boxthorn follow-up and marine debris collection – Furneaux Islands, eastern Bass Strait. 2021

There will be two working bees to undertake follow up on the Furneaux Islands this autumn / winter 2021.

The first will be May 10th to May 22nd and coordinated by Karen Ziegler, FOBSI. Each can have a total of 10 people to revisit islands already worked on. People need to be members of Wildcare.

You need to be reasonably fit and agile to get in and out of boats, walk through tussock grass and climb over rocks. You also need to be prepared to use herbicide. All PPE is supplied.

The work will get you to areas rarely visited, is solid work and great fun.

Please email EOI to kiziegler@bigpond.com who will reply after the 19th of March.
