We’re back. Due to Covid-19 a lot has changed and this also applies to working bees. New procedures and paperwork apply and all volunteers are required to be pre registered with DPIPWE (this is a one off registration). If you have already registered with another Wildcare group and submitted your Volunteer Registration and Covid-19 Safety Plan Induction forms, you don’t have to do it again, but I do need to know that you have submitted the forms as part of our Friends of the PCT (FPCT) compliance. If you haven’t completed the forms and wish to join a PCT working bee, please contact me penguincradletrail@wildcaretas.org.au for the FPCT volunteer information package so you can register. We will work through any issues as they arise and the plan is to work on a new section of track we are putting in from Bannons Bridge Road to Wings Wildlife Park at Gunns Plains as a priority and other sections as needed. As always the destination is dependent on the weather and numbers. Come along for a fun day out ….. unfortunately we can no longer supply morning tea as food sharing isn’t currently permitted … sorry. You will require your own bushwalking gear suitable for a day out, lunch and water as we will be away from the cars. Tools and safety gear provided (please supply your own hand sanitizer for when you are in the field). If you would like to attend then register for the event or contact me for more details.
