Sir Johns Falls Hut Restoration

The community-based initiative to refurbish the hut was initiated by Wildcare Friends of the Franklin River Branch through collaboration with the Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) Heritage Section. The PWS North-West Region and the Tasmanian Mountain Huts Preservation society are also involved as well as community donors.
Volunteers with built structure renovation/preservation skills are needed for 5-7 day work shifts. Volunteers will need to self-cater and come equiped for camping at a remote location.
