Friends of Narawntapu – Sea Spurge Working Bee Camp
Hand weeding of Sea Spurge from sand dunes between Griffith Point and Picnic Point. As this will cover a 2km stretch, some days will require a car. The work is not hard, but it is constant.
Free camping is available for volunteers at Narawntapu National Park. Participants need to be self sufficient, comfortable with camping and provide own camper, tent and food for 6 days. There is a great protected shelter where you may put up tents or park your vans. Powered sites are not provided. A BBQ is available but bring your wood or own cooker. There are just basic toilet facilities but the sea is great for swimming.
Gloves, work gear, hat and sunscreen essential. Tools Provided.
Day volunteers also welcome.
More details are provided when you register.
