Kelcey Tier bird watching, habitat tree surveying and tree protection. Identify birds via their call and visually and numbers present. Identify potential trees with hollows for bird habitat especially critically endangered Swift parrots. Clear base of trees to protect from burning when hazard reduction burns are conducted.

We will be surveying areas on King Island for critically endangered Orange-bellied Parrots (OBPs) during their northern migration from South West Tasmania to the mainland as well as participating in the Wings on King bird survey.
