If there is going to be snow in the alpine area, then this month is likely to be the main time. This is a good opportunity to work on a few tasks near the visitor centre, including removing weeds near park entrance and clear vegetation on the track between railway line and Tyenna River

It may also be valuable to check for holly on the slope above the huts area above the Russell Falls Creek as it hasn’t been searched for several years
